Highland High School crowned 2012 State Champions after two days of consistent fishing at IHSA Bass Fishing Championship Carlyle Lake Carlyle, IL. Highland was again fortunate enough to have 2 teams qualified this year with the 2nd Highland team finshing 11th overall in a field of 56. Great job and congratulations.

Pictured below with his DeKalb HS teammates is Anthony Kriese with his Big Bass winner on Friday. The fish topped scales at 6 lbs 14 oz and won his school $500!!!
46 of 56 teams had solid limits of fish on first day of competition at IL State High School Championship....IHSA puts on great event!

Another customer cashes in BIG after visiting Jase Outdoors!! New REVO MGX, 12 lb seaguar flourocarbon, B & R Outlaw rod, rigged with 5/16 oz Scooter jig / Bluegill skirt with 4" Super Stik / watermelon red flake from Sydney's Soft plastics. Add all those things together and a good hook-set and you get this 8 1/2 lb beauty!!!

Try a new ABU Garcia Veritas Rod rigged with a Scooter jig and hang on! The very sensitive and light as a feather feel of the Veritas rod will increase your chances of setting the hook on even the lightest of bites.
